So glad I chose Arkansas State University! I have been at A-State since my junior year of high school. They offer extensive education with great resources and a wide variety of opportunity. The staff is very friendly and helpful, making the experience that much more enjoyable. The athletics are wonderful and always a blast to watch. Taking concurrent courses in high school has weighed heavily into choosing Arkansas State to earn my degree.

I'm currently a high school senior and I will be going to A-State. Personally, I had trouble getting in touch with my admissions counselor and only ever spoke to her once when she came to my high school earlier in the year. Everyone else I talked to from A-State was nice and helpful, but it definitely felt like they expected me to figure everything out myself in terms of admissions and financial aid. Also, they hadn't updated their costs on their website in a while apparently and so when I got my financial aid offer it turned out to be way more expensive than I originally thought it'd be based on the costs on the A-State website. I live nearby Jonesboro and so I've been to the campus and surrounding area a few times. The campus itself is nice looking and it's definitely walkable if you don't have a car, and the sidewalks aren't messed up like some other schools I've seen. Jonesboro itself doesn't seem to have much to do in my opinion but I could be wrong on that.

My experience with ASU was really great! I took a class while being in high school and I loved it. Although, I was not able to finish my class as I tore my ACL and the campus does not have the best parking or ease of getting to classes. That is my only complaint.
