Jameson is made from blending two different whiskeys. The best pot still whiskey, made from both malted and unmalted barley is combined with a fine-grain whiskey. Both have been distilled three times to remove any impurities and ensure optimum smoothness. The water is taken from the Dungourney, a local river and one that’s the perfect half-way house between hard and soft with calcium levels that are ideal for brewing.
