From 8am Ramen to Sweet Silken Tofu (pictured on the left), Ivan Ramen will indulge any breakfast craving.

A seriously local spot, Ralph’s Coffee is on the second floor of the Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store on Madison Avenue.

People watch in this airy, light filled space while reenergizing for shopping, museums, and of course, more eating.

Amali boasts affordable, beautiful and delicious food for lunch and dinner, a spot you shouldn’t miss. From their brick chicken, roasted whole fish, and house made pasta, everything here feels as if it’s cooked with love — a refreshing break from the standard uptown restaurant.

“Tori Shin may have left the neighborhood, but Sushi Sekkei on 1st serves excellent sushi until 3 am. The fluke with jalapeno is knock out. For drinks I would go to The Bar Room (the late night industry spot), or the Jeffrey (for beer). If you remember a older New York City before Guliani (or wish you did) check out Neerys in Sutton Place (it is a classic but not just because people there are classics).”

This cookie is unlike any other. Always served warm with a perfectly crispy exterior and half-baked interior, these monster size cookies are the perfect reward after a day exploring the city. Chocolate chip walnut (pictured on the left) is a crowd favorite but you can’t go wrong with anything that comes out of this tiny kitchen.

“Grand Central Oyster Bar is one of my favorite places to go with or without a group of friends, it's great for grazing on oysters from near and far and offers a good variety of fresh seafood. I sometimes take away a fried oyster or shrimp Po Boy for the ride home. Also, I like seeing familiar faces behind the counter, guys who have been there for years and actually remember repeat customers.”

Aldo Sohm is the wine director at Le Bernardin and created his namesake space to celebrate his love of wine and New York. With delicious snacks like this whole roasted cauliflower and a wine list that will make you swoon, Aldo Sohm leaves pretension at the door and provides a relaxing space to experience good company and good wine.
