How often should you change FROG mineral cartridge? ›

The SPA FROG mineral cartridge needs to be replaced every four months. Remove the SPA FROG Bromine Cartridge from the In-Line System until the bromine level is down to 2.0 ppm.

Set the FROG @ease SmartChlor Cartridge to the setting that match- es your hot tub size in gallons. FROG @ease SmartChlor Cartridge will main- tain a low 0.5 to 1.0 ppm chlorine level as long as the pH stays within 7.2 and 7.8 so there is little need to adjust the cartridge setting.

Every FROG product for hot tubs has a Mineral Cartridge that lasts four months. If you should drain your hot tub prior to that, you would need to use a new Mineral Cartridge.
