#114:Sharpen Your Skills Like a Praying Mantis (and Skip the Steak Coma)This week's newsletter finds me reflecting on dietary choices. Was the Italian or Spanish steak the wiser option? (Sorry vegans for the second week in a row). Perhaps a video on mantis-inspired stretches is more appropriate...#creator #linkedincreator #newsletter

Greetings LinkedIn community! As we embark on this new year, I'm reminded of the importance of being prepared for the unexpected. As of today, NATO has officially recommended that we have a flashlight that can last for three days in case of an attack by Russia or another rogue state. While this may seem like an extreme measure, it's crucial to be proactive in safeguarding our well-being.Speaking of unexpected events, Croatia recently announced a potential hurricane and 30cm of snow. While we're all safe here in Rijeka, this situation serves as a reminder to be prepared for any eventuality. After all, "SNAFU" stands for "Situation Normal, All F***ed Up."So, as we transition back to work mode, let's not forget to prioritize our time wisely. Here's a thought-provoking interview with my mentor, Steven J. Manning, who emphasizes the importance of making conscious choices that align with our life goals.Don't let your New Year's resolutions fade into oblivion. Take action! Pursue that new job, enrol in that training course, or start that business you've been dreaming of. As Steven aptly puts it, "LIFE IS NOT A DRESS REHEARSAL..."I encourage you to listen to our insightful conversation and embrace his wisdom to navigate the ever-changing landscape of life. Here's to a year of resilience, purpose, and meaningful action!https://lnkd.in/dvy6d3np#purpose #meaningfulaction #justdoit

Happy New Year to all my epic connections on LinkedIn. โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠโ€œBe proud of how you handled this year. The silent battles you fought. The setbacks youโ€™ve overcome. The dark days when you had to wipe your own tears & pat yourself on the back. Celebrate that. Choose to get better, choose to evolve, choose to let go. Keep going. Youโ€™ve got thisโ€.โ™ฅ๏ธ
